WWII Bombers
The North American P-51 Mustang
The P-51 Mustang is Still a Hot Seller

All you need is $1.5 Million (to start)

P-51 Mustang

44-12852 Dan Friedkin just cannot get enough P-51 Mustangs! He purchased the restoration of "Frenesi" which was reported to become "Enchantress", but since the sale, plans might have changed.

P-51 Mustang

44-72922 This TF-51 was sold from the U.S. and moved to Belgium for the new owner Jan van der Flier (cool name). It is based in Antwerp and the new reg is PH-VDF.

P-51 Mustang

44-73275 Russell Cecil and Dave Murphy are the proud new owners of "Never Miss". James Elkins owned her since 1996 but N199H sold in June 2009. New base is Perth NY.

P-51 Mustang

44-74391 Chris Woods sold his beautiful P-51 named "February" to the Friedkin Texas Air Force (FTAF :) in 2009. February is a tribute to Jim Brooks USAAF.

P-51 Mustang

44-74996 Probably the most shocking sale of 2009 is that of the famed air racer Dago Red. Dago was being reworked and restored at the time the sale went through. All work came to an instant stop and the racer was shipped from Hollister to Chino. Previous owner Frank Taylor (and some partners) purchased Dago from Ryan Costo. As of Jan 2010 this story is still alive with more possible changes in the works.

P-51 Mustang

44-84753 Bernie Jackson let his fun flying P-51 go to Cielos LLC of Texas. The P-51 was repainted and some new avionics were installed by Pacific Fighters.
