So, a question comes up for anyone who wants to know "who was first" to put the P-51 Mustang and the Ford Mustang side by side and take a picture. I don't know. My first shot was very improv at Hollister, Ca. I was at the airport cruising in my '66 candy apple red convertible (oh, I miss that car). I saw a P-51 on the ramp. It was Merlin's Magic. I found the owner, Stu Eberhardt, and asked if I could park my Ford by his P-51 and take a couple shots. He said "sure, but you will have to hurry". He was getting ready to head home and was in the cockpit strapping in by the time I pulled up in front and grabbed my camera. Two or three quick shots is all I got :)
