2005: July - first flight by John Muszala
To be repainted in something different ...
2005: December - suffered a hard landing at Minden, NV. Some wing tip damage, but no damage to the prop or engine. Should be back flying in '06.
2006: December - work completed, ready for test flight.
2007: Jan - test flight by John Muszala. No big squawks, everyone very satisfied. Crew chief, Jim Martinelli has her in top shape. Bernie Jackson can be seen often over the Carson Valley in Nevada. Look for that bare metal P-51 with a red star on the fuselage.
2009: sold to Cielos LLC
New Paint: 78th Fighter Group, "HL R" "Buzzin Cuzzin"
New radios and full systems check and upgrades by John Muszala, son John and crew at Pacific Fighters in Idaho Falls.
2010: Jan - nearing completion of work at Pacific Fighters, should be on its way to Texas in early Feb.
