OK, you were told that this P-51 was used for a pilot check out in the SFO area and that this P-51 is still flying today but not painted as above. Yes, it is Straw Boss2, N5460V, 44-72192 owned by California Warbirds. Pictured at the top is how this P-51 looked when a young and wild guy named Dan Martin first took his check ride. The plane is still flying and Dan flies it on occasion. It's parked in the hangar next to him so he gets to see it a lot.
