Martin Kyburz:
This is Dominican Air Force ship, photographed early in the 1970's. when
the FAD again painted their ships with sharkmouths as already used in the
1950's with the then known 'Escuadron de Caza "Ramfis"' (when the FAD Mustangs
did not carry camouflage). Nose-colours used where red, yellow, blue,
possibly orange and green, each section having their individual colour.
ID is almost impossible and I do not want to speculate even when looking
at the camouflage-pattern, which varied on every a/c. It clearly is an
ex-Swedish example, easily identifiable from the small 'fence' behind the
propeller to prevent oil being thrown on the windshield.
