Chris Abrey: This P51 is Robs Lamplough's ex Israeli 44-72216 G-BIXL seen shortly after her restoration was completed in 1987. Since then she has worn an Olive Drab scheme for Memphis Belle, prior to taking up her genuine wartime markings as Miss Helen.


T.J. Johansen: From the looks of it this is most likely Robs Lamplough´s G-BIXL seen shortly after first flight before being painted. I saw it like this at North Weald in Robs hangar with the star & bar as it has in this photo!
