HINT: As far as I know this P-51 does exist. It is on the P-51 list but I have no pictures and the only info I have is that it is in storage. It is always possible that this P-51 was used up in another rebuild and my info is wrong (happened before), but I don't know that either. Oh, this one's reg. ends in "V" like case 235.

Another hint (from Dick Phillips): It is locked away in a hangar in the LAX area, while its owner is restoring his PT-22.

Hi Curtis, With hints like that...who can fail? Could it be 44-84896? N5416V Is this the airplane that is more or less sealed up in a hangar at the Torrance (CA) airport?
