No guesses, so here's a hint:
Currently not registered in N. America, Europe or S. Pacific. Painted in WWII scheme of an 8th AF FG and was at the 1999 Gathering of Mustangs and Legends.

Still no guesses, so here is another hint: The photo was shot at Chino and there is another P-51D in the US currently wearing the same color scheme!!!

That is the Mustang painted in the colors of Shang-ri-la, Don Gentile's Mustang in the war, It ia based I believe in Monterey Mexico.
