Apparently she has spent most of her life in her natural paint...

During the period that she wore this paint scheme (probably mid to late 1960s), N7722C was owned by Robert Bixler of San Jose, CA. Bixler flew contract flight test operations for FMC Corporation, with most of the ops at low altitudes over Hunter Liggett Military Reservation (central California coast) and Navy bombing ranges at Fallon, NV. Sometime in the early 1970s the aircraft was sold to an owner in Texas, where it was repainted in military colors. It was subsequently sold and exported to a collector in New Zealand, but has recently come back to the United States.

I have photo's of this plane taken at an Odessa Texas airshow 1979-1980 with the same paint scheme as the photo shown, except that the cowling is bare metal.
