We don't know anything about this P-51 or about the photo date/place. Good Luck! Jim Church: 44-74417, N6372T, was, at the time of your photo, owned by Dr. Garland Brown, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. It was then purchased by Bob Byrne of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, in the mid 1980s. He repainted it as an aircraft of the 192FS, Nevada ANG, which was flown by Erv Ethell, the late Jeff Ethell's father. It's paint scheme was modified from the original somewhat by Byrne, and it carried the name "Tabasco, Hot Stuff." This aircraft had served in Canada as RCAF 9586, and had at one time carried the Canadian registration CF-MWB. It is currently owned by Dick James of Fennimore, Wisconsin, but the name has been changed to "Donna-Mite."
Tim Savage adds: This Mustang was owned by Garland Brown of Fort Wayne Indiana until 1986 or so. It was obtained by Bob Byrne when he was buying and selling Mustangs.
