I think this might be 44-74850 N6726C while owned by Jack Sliker of GA although that would mean the date in the info is not correct. For now that is my guess though.

Okay, how about 44-72145.Non cuffed prop with red, white, and blue tips, cupped gun ports, and that odd vent tube sticking out of the right side of the cowling.

I've been looking at this one for some time. I was given a date and a serial#, but they did not match. So I went searching. I looked at props, canopies, antennae, gun ports, vents. I searched hundreds of photos. I have a list of 20 possibles starting with an RCAF history (photo barely shows an ADF). I finally noticed on close up that this photo and photos of 44-74850 have a common vent or com antenna just below the rudder that protrudes out at an angle back. That and the prop, both items that can be easily changed is all I got, but they match. The date must be wrong since 44-74850 crashed in 1975.

Nice work TJ. I am closing this one as 44-74850 until we have any better info.
Case Closed!
