The USCR still shows N5465V (44-73243) as registered to Edward Bliss...last activity in November '69. I doubt this airplane still exists...unless some "switchie-changies" went on. Does anybody know the story? Did this one "go south"?

this picture depicts 44-73423, assigned to ATC, later with various ANG units (165 FS KY ANG, 167 FS WV ANG, 113 FS PA ANG) and later adopted civil ID N5465V (as shown). The fate of this particular a/c is unknown to me.

This appears to be Serial # 44-73423n possibly still belonging to Bliss, Edward of Beverly Hills,CA. the info I have seen so far was as of 11/05/1969. But i show that the certificate has been revoked.

A weird one, this was an ex 165 FS KY, 167FSWV ans 113FS PA ANG as well. She was surplussed and registered N5465V but I don't know who owned her at this time. Sure looked good though...I believe it crashed with Edward Bliss of San Diego being the owner and parts ended up with Fred Sebby by 1980, registered as N31248. Then registered as N51DJ and "Sunshine" it became 44-73216...crashing again as N3278D in MI on 2.6.87?? As I said a strange history...
