My dad and I flew up to the Reno Air Races in 1970. He brought a super 8mm camera and took film of Bob Hoover flying a black Mustang with red trim, marked n3580. Dad just had the film digitized and have just watched it. Seeing the reg number, I thought I'd google it to see what information I could find and it lead me here. He actually took quite a bit film at Reno. Dad was a career engineer with North American and quite fond of Hoover.
